Plenty of Knitting going on!
Hubby & I went to Abilene this past weekend and I got alot of knitting done on the road. I got 4 squares finished and several “logs” on my log cabin blanket. When we got back I sent off 4 square to “firefly” for her blanket. Weekend!
The weekend is over! It makes me sad because it was a wonderful weekend. Went with W to the “hill country” here in Texas and visited Fredricksburg! All the little quaint shops and the vineyards and the Wildseed Farm were so beautiful. There is nothing quite like spring in the hill country, unless it is Fall in the Ozarks! While we were on the road I got alot of knitting done. 4 squares for our Gracious Parcels, Waco, TX project blanket and about 3 inches on my summer shawl/stole. I love to knit on the road. It is productive when otherwise it would just be boring. If I hadn’t been so busy looking at the wildflowers I could have knit more, but you do have to stop & smell the roses along the way. Took plenty of pics to post later (I still use film) and took some of the knitting too!

Thank You Firefly!
New blog!!! I hope this one does what I want it to, easily! I Love to knit! Right now I am teaching friends at work to knit! We are starting a Waco, Texas branch of Project Gracious Parcels, started by “Firefly” in western NY state. Knitting squares to be made into a throw for a Habitat for Humanity family. Our first family has their home dedication in May so we have alot of squares to make. Anyway, take a look at Firefly’s blog at http://scrumptiousliving.wordpress.com/.
