Weekend Stuff

Going out of town again this weekend.  Granddaughter 1 has her middle school graduation banquet tonight!  I can’t believe she is almost 15.  Wow, how time flys! 

Knitting time in the car is knitting time for me.  I put yarn in my bag and hope to get a few more squares done for our “Memory Blanket” for HFH.  Slowly getting there with the squares.  I am starting my classes up again next week at work so we should have enough for the blanket soon.

Hopefully I can post some pictures soon.  Going to buy a new digital camera today.  I saw one I wanted in the sales papers yesterday.

Weekend!

The weekend is over!  It makes me sad because it was a wonderful weekend.   Went with W to the “hill country” here in Texas and visited Fredricksburg!  All the little quaint shops and the vineyards and the Wildseed Farm were so beautiful.  There is nothing quite like spring in the hill country, unless it is Fall in the Ozarks!  While we were on the road I got alot of knitting done.  4 squares for our Gracious Parcels, Waco, TX project blanket and about 3 inches on my summer shawl/stole.  I love to knit on the road.  It is productive when otherwise it would just be boring.  If I hadn’t been so busy looking at the wildflowers I could have knit more, but you do have to stop & smell the roses along the way.  Took plenty of pics to post later (I still use film) and took some of the knitting too!
